Having studied GIS at Newcastle University, I have an in-depth understanding of how geospatial data can be acquired, handled and processed. This includes experience in analysing multispectral satellite imagery, GIS data and thermal drone imagery.
With other skills in Python coding, database management and video editing, I have the toolset required to help bring your project success.
Pining for the Fjords
Born in Leicester, UK and living in Bergen, Norway for the past 5 years. I am surrounded by Fjell (Mountains) and Fjords. The beautiful natural landscape is a constant inspiration to explore the world. I have a passion for hiking and the outdoors which is why working out in the field is so engaging to me.
Living here also gives me access to EU drone licensing and keeping up to date on how to fly drones safely and legally according to the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). A drone license with the EASA allows me to fly for commercial purposes across the EU/EEA and Switzerland and is accepted in many countries across the world.
Entrepeneur, Immigrant and Amateur Wood Carver
I am always looking for a new challenge. Whether it be starting a company, moving to a new country, or hand carving a chess set out of wood, I love to learn new things and expand my skill set.
I love to build solutions to a problem and to collaborate to develop the best outcomes. It is my hope that FjellDrone is the way create opportunities to do this in a variety of applications and with a range of collaborators.
